Cape Cod holds a vast amount of history. There are many museums and historical sites that are worth visiting.

The Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown is the tallest granite structure in the country and marks the pilgrim's first landing point. Don't miss the on-site museum to learn more about the Cape's early inhabitants.

If you're on the mid-Cape, stop by the Zion Union Heritage Museum in Hyannis. This museum collects artifacts that relate to the arts, sciences, religions, local history, politics, sports, and history of African-Americans and Cape Verdeans on Cape Cod, celebrating the rich history of people of color who have called the Cape home.
