Shop ‘til you Drop on Cape Cod’s Main Streets

Every town on Cape Cod has a quaint downtown area filled with retail and souvenirs shops.

On those cloudy days when the beach doesn’t seem too appealing, spending the day strolling and shopping one of the Cape’s beautiful Main Streets is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.

Some especially vibrant downtown areas are Provincetown, Hyannis, Chatham, and Falmouth, though every town has a downtown area worth exploring.

IF YOU WANNA MAKE A DAY OF IT…

We recommend driving along 6A and stopping at the various shops and galleries along the way. Historic Route 6A is a beautiful drive that runs from Sandwich to Brewster and Orleans.

The scenic drive alone is worth the trip, but there are tons of fun shops, restaurants, and landmarks to help break up the day.

You’ll drive past some of the oldest and best-preserved homes on the Cape, giving you a real feel of Olde Cape Cod.
